What are you most looking forward to about working at GSS?

I've been making work, rehearsing my company, Luminarium Dance, and teaching at GSS since 2010, and now I'm thrilled to join the staff . I am looking forward to getting to know who is using the building, what they're up to, and how I can support and enhance opportunites for dancers at GSS and beyond. Also, to help develop and refine GSS's programming as we close in on 2020.

What is your favorite thing about the dance community in Cambridge?

I love the quantity of humans making and dancing and the general relentless spirit.

What are you most looking forward to about working at GSS?

Helping artists produce amazing work in the area as well as developing my own skills. I look forward to bringing both dance and non-dance performances in the theater.

Who is a dancer/artist who inspires you?

I get a lot of inspiration from Langston Hues aesthetically via his use of jazz in his work. Dance-wise my friends in the hip-hop scene push me to keep learning and creating.
