understanding of dance vocabulary. It’s a great place to start if

Description:
This modern class is for strong intermediate dancers. Nicole’s
style is idiosyncratic with strong emphasis on musicality, phrasing
and textural movement vocabulary. The warm-up is thorough and includes
balletic and traditional modern exercises in combination with exercises
in isolating small movements, multi-tasking, strength building and
alignment. Long movement combinations change weekly. Nicole insists
on an atmosphere of openness and humor in order to provide an environment
for clear focus and free play.

This class is for students with little or no dance experience, who
are looking for fun, exercise, and to build strength and energy.
Also a great introductory class for dancers who want to learn the
basics of modern dance movement vocabulary.

Using the concepts of contract/release, drop/flow, weightedness,
and aerial precision, this class consists of floorwork, center work,
