Andary Dance presents
Inside Out; Outside In
focusing on the experiences and stimuli
that shape our day-to-day lives and interactions.

Inside Out; Outside In premiers 2 new exciting and thought-provoking
dance works. Created by Artistic Director Nathan Andary, the debut
of his Spaghetti Western looks at the many interruptions of life
and how we journey along only to take a rest once in a while. A
video backdrop created by Philadelphia's Video Artist, Allison Powell
sets the scene and adds another dimension to this funny and thoughtful
piece. Andary's Reciprocity or the Truth examines the varying layers
of our personalities and how they are utilized through interpersonal
exchanges. Through the mathematical and strategic partnering of
the dancers, each demands the same interaction from the other or
the truth.
Andary Dance is a nationally touring company and recipient of grants
from Toyota, MCC, RISCA, and an innovation grant from NG Systems.
Andary Dance also presents the work of NYC choreographer Ellen Godena,
and the work of 2 Andary Dancers-Rachel Scarl and Lauren Tymon.
Their work promises to highlight the versatility of the Andary dancers.
Inside Out; Outside In displays the provocative, fluid and emotional
motion of intricate and complex choreography.
